Kenkun Shrine

Omamori Charms

Kenkun Shrine’s ofuda talismans, omamori charms, history texts, almanacs, and omikuji fortunes can be procured at the Shrine Office, or at the Reception Office located just inside the shrine’s Grand Torii Gate to the right.
In addition, you can receive the shrine’s goshuin seal at the Shrine Office, so feel free to ask there.
Please be aware that there may be times the office is unstaffed due to festivals, etcetera.

Ofuda (Shinto Talisman)

Ofuda Talisman
6.2×21.4cm

Ofuda talismans are ideally enshrined within kamidana household shrines, but can also be placed in clean, bright areas of the home facing east or south.

In front of the kamidana place offerings of rice (washed or cooked), salt, and water, then make your supplication just as you would at a shrine by bowing twice, clapping twice, praying, and bowing once more.
